Ligature Awareness & use of Rescue Equipment

This is an essential course for those staff who work with individuals who struggle to cope or have been identified as high risk of suicide. The session takes a sensitive look at the facts surrounding the use of ligatures in suicides with a focus on suicide prevention and risk reduction. Delegates will gain practical skills on the use of rescue equipment (ligature cutters) and knowledge to help recognise points of risk, and create safer environments.
