Moving & Handling of Objects

This course is designed to deliver compliance in mandatory manual handling and further develop knowledge and skills in practical handling techniques. Content includes a review of health & safety legislation & guidance, discussion on back care and injury prevention and application of handling risk assessment. Practical teaching gives delegates an opportunity to apply theory to handling examples in the workplace and practice principles of safe object handling.
